On behalf of the entire staff of the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, we extend a warm welcome as you begin the new school year.

My office works every day to serve the people of Lehigh County with care, professionalism, and respect. While our work is often centered around life’s most difficult moments, we remain deeply committed to supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our community. Education plays a vital role in that mission, and we value the efforts of our schools in helping young people build bright and meaningful futures.

As you return to the classroom, I encourage you to look out for one another, make safe and healthy choices, and embrace the many opportunities this school year will bring.

Stop by to meet the Coroner and some of our staff. We promise our table will be "lit"! Parents will love us, and the children will be "glowing" with happiness!

Good morning. The stats are here. Unfortunately, July has been a much busier month than June for the staff at the LCCO&FC. Despite the increase in cases and investigations, our commitment to each family we serve remains unwavering. We consistently provide compassion and support to every family member through one-on-one representation, and sometimes, a simple hug can make all the difference.

Hot off the press! A new, modernized brochure has been created. When an Investigator responds to a death in Lehigh County, this brochure is provided directly to the family of the deceased. It serves as a resource to offer guidance, support, and answers to commonly asked questions during this difficult time. Often, family members are so distressed that they may not remember the one-on-one discussion they had with the Investigator. This guide will help ease that challenging moment. Compassion and family care will always be the standard at the LCCO&FC.

There are some updates at the LCCO&FC! Take a look at the new sleek window covering. The former LE Viewing Room is being transformed into additional office space. In the near future, there will be minor construction to convert this room into two offices, along with a small storage area. Stay tuned for more updates!

Yesterday was a milestone birthday for Chief Deputy Pender! He enjoyed a surprise luncheon with some of his dayshift colleagues and family, along with some refreshing ice cream with Freddie from Issa Cream. Happy Birthday Chief Pender!
