The staff of the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensic Center extend our deepest sympathy to the families who have lost loved ones during this recent winter weather.

These tragedies are heartbreaking, and we see firsthand the impact sudden loss has on families in our community. Please take winter conditions seriously — cold temperatures and snow removal can place dangerous strain on the body, especially for older adults and those with health conditions.

Check on loved ones, take breaks, and ask for help when needed. Our thoughts remain with these families during this difficult time.

As a winter storm approaches, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensic Center hopes our services will not be needed and that everyone in our community remains safe, warm, and well.

Should the need arise, our team is fully staffed and prepared to respond without delay—working with families, first responders, healthcare partners, and public safety agencies to ensure care, coordination, and support during difficult moments.
