Join Treatment Trends, Inc., Lehigh County Drug and Alcohol, Center fof Humanistic Change, Valley Youth House, and Lehigh Valley Drug & Alcohol Intake Unit in celebration of the Grand Opening of a new Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Slatington, PA: Treatment Trends Slatington Outpatient! OPEN NOW!

Northern Lehigh County residents now have a state of the art treatment program right in their community funded by Lehigh County Drug and Alcohol. That's worthy of a party.

* 3 PM – 3:30 PM - Snacks and beverages
* 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM – Opening remarks from County, State, Local officials
and program staff, and recovering people. Afterward, we’ll walk to the
Slatington Outpatient Office for the ribbon cutting (it’s a couple doors
down).
* 4:15/4:30 PM – 4:30/4:45 PM – ribbon cutting

Removing unused medications from your medicine cabinet is an excellent way to keep them off the streets.

The Whitehall Township Police Department will be participating in the DEA National prescription take back day on Saturday April 26th, 2025 from 10am to 2pm.

An officer will be present in the lobby of the police station to collect unneeded medications.

This effort encourages the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.
