This bipartisan resolution would allow new parents to identify proxy voters to vote on their behalf while giving birth. (Under current house rules, new parents can't vote while under maternity/paternity leave). Supporting new parents in parental leave is an important issue in mental health! We love to see these politicians working together to 1) support their fellow delegates and their families and 2) recognize the voices of delegates' constituents during parental leave!

Dr. Allison Otto will be jumping off a ferry 😱into the Atlantic Ocean 🪼this Sunday and swimming 🏊‍♀️as part of her sprint relay team for the Escape the Cape Triathlon!!! She has also chosen to raise funds for The Trevor Project, in honor of Pride Month! LGBTQ youth need support and affirmation - in fact, it can be life saving, dramatically reducing su***de risk for this population. Please consider donating and sharing! 💜
