Our first MVPs of 2026 are here! These players are stepping up and working hard! Here are our Most VALUEable Players for this week:

🏀Alliance MVP of Week #13 is:
Jaxon Poss
Sport: Basketball
Jaxon hasn’t played a ton of varsity minutes. However, in the holiday tournament he came in against Broken Bow. He helped us get several stops and also made a couple of layups. He helped his team to a win in the first round of the holiday tournament.

🤼‍♀️Hemingford MVP of Week #13 is:
Brooke Hartman
Sport: Wrestling
Brooke is a great teammate. As a freshman, she steps up and practices with two upper classman with more experience. Instead of letting this frustrate her, she is turning it into an opportunity to make herself better. She always has a great attitude and brings great intensity to the practice room. Her hard work and dedication is translating into her improving every time she steps on the mat.

The staff of BBGH is committed to the values of Safety, Excellence, Compassion, Integrity, Devotion and Teamwork every day. BBGH strives to promote these values in our work and community. Recognizing these values in others magnifies our message to continually work to achieve greatness.
During each season, BBGH recognizes and celebrates Box Butte County high school student athletes who embody one (or more) of our values on or off the court/field/track/mat.
Thank you to everyone who participates in nominating and recognizing these !

Because of the generosity of our community- The Mission Store Grant program, Bomgaars’ Ladies’ Night event, The American Legion Hemingford Supper Club, Total Reflections raffle, and Giving Tuesday, we raised $13,497 for Jane’s Closet!

Thank you, and we look forward to continuing this important work together in the year ahead!
