Meet Our Team!☀️

Allison is the owner of Mindful Therapy Solutions and specializes in working with teens and adults to explore and identify the root causes of their current challenges, promoting healing from the inside out. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based techniques, including EMDR, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and person-centered therapy. While she addresses a variety of concerns, her primary focus is on supporting those struggling with anxiety, attachment issues, depression, grief, life transitions, relational challenges, self-esteem, and PTSD.

Avi has completed an 8-month training program in systemic s*x therapy and takes a humanistic approach to counseling. They specialize in working with adolescents, adults, and couples, addressing concerns related to ADHD, attachment, autism, barriers to intimacy, intimate partner violence recovery, LGBTQIA+ issues, and OCD. Their therapeutic style is s*x-positive, systems-focused, trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and gender-affirming.

Elise has experience supporting children, teens, and adults navigating issues such as anxiety, behavioral challenges, depression, grief, relational and family difficulties, and trauma. She uses an attachment-based and psychodynamic approach to explore how early experiences shape individuals’ relationships with themselves and others. Elise also incorporates meditation, art, and other expressive activities into her sessions to foster self-expression and healing.

Meet Our Therapists!

Avi has a passion for social justice, empowering survivors of s*xual trauma, and supporting the exploration of diverse experiences of queerness. They have completed an 8-month training program in systemic s*x therapy, and works with an array of issues including ADHD, autism, attachment concerns and more. They work with adolescents, adults, and couples and are committed to creating a collaborative environment for clients to feel seen and valued to help navigate their challenges.

Nancy has over twenty-five years of treatment experience which comes with a diverse background. Nancy works with all forms of additions, postpartum depression, adoption issues, s*xual abuse, grief and behavioral issues in children and teens. She also works with couples and families navigating communication and relational issues. She creates a comfortable environment where clients can openly discuss personal thoughts and feelings without judgment.

🚨Meditation is not shutting off your brain🚨 Think of your brain as a machine, whose job is to think. When you meditate, the goal is not to stop yourself from thinking, but to observe your thoughts without attaching a story to them. The act of meditating is knowing thoughts will arise, but coming back into the present moment⏳
