This is a description of a way that I often approach treatment. It's based on integrating aspects of neurology that are common to chiropractic, acupuncture, and osteopathy in a technique developed in the early 1900's. You might want to try this yourself!

In this video Richard Finn LMT, CMTPT, MCSTT discusses a neurologic approach that integrates chiropractic, osteopathy, spondylotherapy, acupuncture, and manu...

These are a selection of illustrations for the book that I'm currently working on. My working title is "Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy: A Multi-Perspectival Manual Therapy Approach." There's no way the publisher lets me get away with that title but it does accurately describe what I am working on. It's getting closer!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_woKM_NDsQ In this video I demonstrate an evaluation and correction that I often use when the foot hyper-pronates. It's often an essential aspect in treating not only foot but also knee, hop, shoulder, and headache problems. The correction is inexpensive and yet, transformative. If you have pain issues - this is a good place to call to get started on your pain relief journey!

In this video Richard Finn LMT, CMTPT, MCSTT demonstrates the evaluation for hyper pronation of the foot. This is the first of 3 videos describing evaluatio...

In case you've been wondering what I do with my PEMF pads - I did an experiment on video to see if the use of specific frequencies for particular muscles would make any change in flexibility.

This is not how I usually work. I usually treat with my hands - I'm a myofascial therapist after all! I also take a lot more into consideration when I do a treatment. This was only a test - and I was the lab rat. I have whiskers so it's ok and I was not harmed in the production of this research.

I hope you find it interesting and if you are wondering - yes - it can probably help you. If you are near me in the Pittsburgh region you track me down for a treatment! My number is 412-779-7822.

In this video Richard Finn BA, LMT, CMTPT, MCSTT uses the specific frequencies to explore the possible use of PEMF therapy to treat muscles. This video was m...

The path to mental wellness isn’t a one-size-fits-all. While traditional talk therapy may work wonders for many, others find healing in more creative ways by utilizing arts forms like dance, painting, drama, and my personal favorite, music therapy.
