Join us for a special morning at the Brown County Fair designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities!

Here's what you need to know:

Date: Friday, August 15th
Time: 10:00 am - Noon

Lights: Lowered for a calmer atmosphere

Music: Off during this time slot as rides allow

Rides:
Wait times may be extended to allow for smoother transitions.

No wheelchair-accessible rides, but individuals can be assisted onto the ride.

Admission: FREE admission for a special needs individual with up to four family members with free admission also.

Because we have a heat advisory for the 4:00 and 5:30 games we will adapt play as follows for today’s games:

-Only partners in the outfield to catch the hits, players will stay in the dugout. Partners will take turns in the dugout and on the field so no one is in the sun for long.
-The dugout facing the first baseline will not be used—that team will use shaded areas instead when not on the field.
-Only coaches will pitch today--no player pitchers.
-The league reserves the right to call the game if players are getting overheated

This will make the games go faster and be safer for everyone.
AS ALWAYS: If you or the player you care will not be safe in these warmer temps, please skip the game this week. Safety first. Please let the coach know if you will not be coming to the game today.
And hydrate early and often! Bring those cooling towels and water bottles!

Plenty of sunshine—and heat! So don’t forget to hydrate ahead of time. Be sure to bring your water bottles, sunscreen, and cooling towels! Also, the air quality has been poor the last day or two due to the fires in Canada. It should improve around noon today, but if the heat or air quality is a health concern for you, make the best decision for yourself (or your player). If you won’t be coming today, please let your coach know as soon as possible. Thanks!

JUNE 23, 2025 CANCELLATION Due to the expected temperatures and heat index for our earlier games, with a chance of storms impacting our later games, we are CANCELING ALL GAMES FOR TODAY. We know it’s a disappointment—we try to make the most of each week—but we feel player and volunteer safety needs to come first. Thanks for your understanding! Next week we will play according to the June 30 schedule. This week’s match-ups (June 23) will NOT be made up. See you next week! 😊 ⚾️ ❤️

A group of us got out to the Rockers game on Sunday. It was overcast (might have felt a few raindrops), but we enjoyed our “moment in the sun” on the field just the same.

PICTURE DAY IS MONDAY JUNE 16!
Players and volunteers, team and player pictures will be taken as follows:

4:00 teams (Muskies and Lumberjacks) stay after for team photos. Please come early if you can (3:30) to get individual player pictures done before. (Otherwise be sure to get them done after your game).
CORRECTION:
5:30 teams (The Freeze team photos will be before your game; the Navigators team pictures will be AFTER your game. Please be at the park by 5:00. Individual pictures can be taken before or after your game.

7:00 teams (Pelicans and Bay Runners) your team and individual photos will be before your game. Please be in the park by 6:30. The photographer will not do photos after your game, so don’t miss it!

HEADS-UP! Our opening games on Monday, June 2, are likely to be hot ones! The games will be played on schedule, but players and guardians should make an individual decision about if or how long to play. Games may be called early due to heat. Also, if the air quality poses a problem for a player, it is up to the player/guardian as to whether the player attends the game. There are no make up games, but the players’ safety is our top priority. Also, if the player wants/needs to leave the game early, we completely understand. So please plan ahead and 1) let the team coach know as soon as possible if a player is not attending; and 2) if you’re coming to the game, BRING A WATER BOTTLE. If you have a cooling towel, this would be a good game to bring it to. Safety first!

Don’t forget: TODAY (Monday May 19) is player uniform pick up AND volunteer shirt pick up (for volunteers who need a shirt; returning volunteers can use their shirt from last season). We’ll be at Resch Miracle Field (1680 Libal Street) 5:30-6:30. 😁
