Gratiot Integrated Health Network is excited to announce that we are offering a free Narcan Vending Machine in partnership with the Child Advocacy- Substance & Su***de Prevention Coalition. This is a great opportunity for those in need of Narcan to get it easily and at no cost. Thanks to the funding from MidState Health Network, we are able to provide this life-saving resource to our community.

Narcan, also known as naloxone, is an opioid antagonist that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. With the opioid epidemic affecting so many people, having access to Narcan is more important than ever. The Narcan Vending Machine provides a discreet and convenient way to obtain Narcan without the need for a prescription or visit to a pharmacy counter.

We urge those who are struggling with opioid addiction or have a loved one who is to take advantage of this opportunity and get Narcan from the vending machine. It can save lives and give hope to those who are battling addiction.

At Gratiot Integrated Health Network, we are committed to supporting our community and helping those in need. We are proud to offer this free Narcan Vending Machine and hope that it will make a positive impact on the lives of many.

Dear all,

In just three days, the world will be celebrating International FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) Day. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of consuming alcohol during pregnancy, which can lead to a range of birth defects and lifelong health issues for the child.

As a community, we can work together to prevent FASD and ensure that every child has the opportunity to live a healthy, happy life. We urge you to share this message with your loved ones, friends, and colleagues, and spread awareness about the risks of drinking during pregnancy.

FASD is a preventable condition, and by educating ourselves and others, we can make a difference. Let's take this opportunity to come together and support mothers and families in making healthy choices for their children.

Thank you for your support in spreading awareness about FASD. Together, we can make a difference.

Overdose touches people and communities in many ways.

Today we honor the people whose lives have been altered by overdose. They are the family and friends grieving the loss of a loved one, workers in healthcare and support services extending strength and compassion, or spontaneous first responders who selflessly assume the role of lifesaver.

We want to say to these people: . Theirs are the voices we should amplify, and their strength and experience should be held up as examples to us all. Too often, however, they are left to bear the burden of this crisis alone and in silence.

This year on August 31, let’s acknowledge and support the people in our communities who go unrecognized by raising awareness of the hidden impacts of overdose, promoting education of overdose response, and reaching out to politicians to make lasting, lifesaving policy changes.
