We had a wonderful time joining Alma Lodge #244 for Alma’s downtown Fall Festival! Local businesses lined the streets to hand out candy and treats to all the little ghosts and goblins, and Masonic Pathways was thrilled to be part of the fun. A few of our residents even joined in to help pass out goodies. We loved being part of this festive community event and can’t wait for next year! 🍬🍁

Fall fun is in full swing at Masonic Pathways! Our residents have been getting creative with pumpkins — from painting and crafting silly pumpkin silhouettes to striking down pumpkin “pins” in a festive game of bowling! There’s no shortage of smiles this season! 🎃🍂

Our annual Emergency Preparedness Fair was a great success! Each year, this mandatory event ensures our staff are ready to respond to any emergency within our facility or in the community.

This year’s fair included hands-on training in fire safety, mass inoculation, evacuation procedures, PPE use, incident command, cybersecurity, and financial planning. We also emphasized creating personal emergency plans at home because preparedness matters everywhere.

Thank you to our community partners for their support and participation: Alma Police Department, Gratiot County Public Health Department, MyMichigan Health, Gratiot County Central Dispatch, District 1 Healthcare Coalition, Mobile Medical Response, and Green Leaf Trust. Together, we are building a safer, more resilient community.

We’re excited to share that the Memorial Garden at Masonic Pathways has received its finishing touches! Thanks to the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation and the generosity of so many donors, this beautiful space has become a special part of our campus. With colorful flowers, shady trees, a peaceful fountain, and plenty of places to sit, it’s a wonderful spot for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude. 💙

The Memorial Garden at the Michigan Masonic Home has received its finishing touches! Donor plaques have now been added to the Memorial Wall, and this beautiful space has been given the name Shelia’s Garden in honor of our generous lead donor.

Surrounded by vibrant flowers, graceful trees, a peaceful water fountain, and inviting seating, it’s a space for reflection and gratitude. While visiting, take a moment to read the heartfelt messages from our donors, thoughtfully displayed on the wall.

Last week, we were happy to welcome nursing students from Saginaw Valley State University! A few of the students joined our resident salon hour, lending a hand with nail painting and care. Our ladies loved the extra pampering and conversation — thank you for making the afternoon so special! ✨💙

Yesterday, our Chapel was filled with harmony and joy as the local Barbershop Chorus performed for our residents. Their music is always such a treat, and our residents look forward to it every time. Thank you to the chorus for sharing your time and talent with us. You make such a difference with every note!
