~ 5 things to do after a massage ~

1.) Drink water! You want to stay hydrated as circulation and blood flow increases!
2.) Ice tension areas. I know..I know…what about heat? You can ice or heat // BUT ice penetrates deeper into the muscle tissue for longer lasting benefits. This will help keep inflammation and soreness down.
3.) Eat a nourishing meal. Your body needs and deserves fuel so be sure to eat something after a massage!
4.) Do something calming after your massage.
Grab a book, do some light stretching, meditate. Find an activity that is calming and relaxing to the body.
