Alma Optics Update 💙

We want to thank our patients and community for your incredible patience and understanding during this unexpected time. In late December, our Alma Optics building experienced significant water damage, and repairs will take several months. While this has been challenging, we are moving forward with care and optimism.

We are excited to share that we’ve secured a temporary location at the Warwick Living Center and are working toward reopening there in early April 2026. In the meantime, our team is actively rescheduling affected appointments as availability allows, and we will continue to see all urgent and emergency cases.

Please know how deeply grateful we are for your kindness, support, and flexibility as we navigate this transition together. It truly means the world to us.

Alma Optics Update

As shared last week, our Alma office experienced unexpected events that required a temporary closure. We would like to provide additional clarity and transparency: the office sustained water damage caused by a malfunctioning fire sprinkler system. The situation was promptly addressed, and there was no fire and no safety risk to patients or staff.

The safety of our patients and team remains our top priority. While restoration work is underway, we are being intentional about ensuring the space fully meets our standards before reopening. In the meantime, our team continues to care for patients at our other local locations, and we are actively implementing interim solutions to increase appointment capacity.

If you have a product order that is ready or pending pickup, our team will be contacting you as soon as possible with updated information.

We will continue to share updates as next steps are confirmed. Thank you for your patience and understanding in the coming weeks as we navigate this unexpected interruption. Our focus remains the same—providing exceptional hometown eye care to our community.

To all of our Alma patients and community: Due to an unexpected situation, the Alma office will be temporarily closed for an unknown period of time. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding.

Our team is working diligently to ensure all patients are cared for as quickly as possible. If you have an upcoming appointment that may be affected, our staff will be reaching out with next steps. For patients with products ready for pickup, we will contact you with pickup options or alternative arrangements.
