Great news! Thank you to all of our patients and staff for putting up with the mess for the last 5 months.

I don't think that I have ever been more excited to make a post in my career, but I just got official word from the Public Services Director that Pine Avenue will be OPEN by 8:00pm tonight for traffic and will be accessible for the first day of school tomorrow!

Please keep in mind that while the road will be open, the project is not finished and there will still be some finishing touches being done in the coming weeks, so please be courteous to crews still working in the area. Also remember that this is a school zone with heavy vehicle and foot traffic so please drive slow and be aware of your surroundings.

Thank you to the crews for working tirelessly to get this project to a point that we can open the road before school starts, and thank you to everyone for your patience this summer while we worked on this major project.

Pine Ave is being paved today. We are being told that there will be times that our drive will not be accessible and there may be a 10 minute wait to get in or out. There should be flaggers out by Panther Parkway to assist with you getting to your appointment. So sorry for the inconvenience. We are being told that this is the end of the construction and we should be back to normal tomorrow. This has been a very long 5 months of construction for our staff and patients and we are so happy to see this come to an end.

Please note : My Michigan Lab in our office will be closed today. You can have your labs drawn at My Michigan Medical Center with your order.

Alma Family Practice & My Michigan Lab will be closing at 11:30am Friday August 15th due to road construction, they are putting down the second layer of asphalt and our office will not be accessible.
If you need to speak with a provider please call our office for instructions to be connected with our on-call provider.
We will re-open on Monday 08/18/25 at 8:00am

Starting Friday Aug 8th, you will only be able to get to the office from Cheesman or Panther Pkwy. On Friday, they are putting down the first layer of asphalt so we have been warned that there is a possibility that there will be a delay getting down Pine Ave. Please give yourself extra time to get to your appointment.
AFP & My Michigan Lab will be closing at 11:30am on Friday 08/08/25 due to the road construction and the inability to get to our office in the afternoon.

Starting Thursday July 17, Pine and Warwick will be closed and you will only be able to get to the office from either Cheesman or Panther Pkwy. Please allow extra time to get to your appointment. There have been slight delays getting down the road due to construction equipment.
