NEVER FORGET!!

Take time today to remember September 11, 2001, when 343 firefighters died while responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center. The first responders from FDNY were among the total 441 first responders that included law enforcement officers and paramedics, who lost their lives on a day we should never forget.

At about 6:15 , AVFD was called out for a possible structure fire. Owner was not there at the time of the fire. No injuries, but 2 family pets did not survive. Thanks GFFD and Capps-Batavia for mutual aid!

Thankfully no injuries today in regards to the vehicle that got stuck on the slab on Cemetery Rd.
During heavy rains we encourage everyone to TURN AROUND at ANY water crossing. Your safety is far more important than taking a shortcut.
