ARE YOU TRAINED IN CPR AND FIRST AID FOR DOGS AND CATS? Well you should be! According to the American Animal Hospital Association 1 out of 4 more pets would survive a medical emergency if just one first aid skill was used prior to reaching the veterinary hospital. We are now offering 3 hour training and certification classes for pet owners, animal and veterinary professionals, fire, EMS and more right here in your area. We are looking for locations to host classes. Classes average 6-25 people and the host receives one complimentary registration if there are at least 8 people in the class. We also offer discounts for large private classes. Internationally recognized program. Classes are approved by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards, Certification Council for Professional Dogs Trainers, Pet Sitters International, National Association for Dog Obedience Trainers, International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and more! Also check out our fundraising program for shelters and rescues. Visit us at https://petemergencyeducation.com/host-a-class/ for more information!

With the high heat index this week, please keep your pets safe! Things to remember~

**We recommend outside time for potty breaks only. Utilize indoor play activities instead of walks.
**No walking on pavement or asphalt- If it is too hot for your bare feet, it’s too hot for their paws.
**If you don’t have air conditioning, keep many fans available and plenty of cool, fresh water.
**Signs of heat stroke may include, but are not limited to- Vomiting, diarrhea, severe panting, lethargy and disorientation. If you see any of these symptoms, seek emergency care immediately.
