Currently offering TeleHealth video and phone calls, this counseling center offers a wide range of mental health services, including counseling services for individuals, families, and children. Your treatment will begin with a psychological assessment to determine your needs and identify a treatment plan that best suits you and your goals in therapy. In collaboration with your therapist, you will learn strategies and skills that will make it easy for you to manage anxiety, depression, and other mental illnesses. Balance & Potential specializes in DBT, or dialectical behavioral therapy, which is especially effective in treating individuals who struggle to regulate their emotions. These DBT therapists work with clients to help them accept where they’re at and what they’re feeling while also acknowledging the need for and making room for change. Through DBT and DBT skills classes, clients will identify and build on strengths, confront and understand negative thoughts, and learn new skills to help cope with stress.
