At 42 I weighed less,
but I also had less muscle and less definition,
Today 7 years later
I weigh more
but I am stronger leaner and more defined,
And age did not hold me back
If anything I am in better shape now than I was then,
This is exactly why I do not measure progress by the scale,
The number on the scale does not tell you
how strong you are
how much muscle you have built
or how your body actually looks and feels.
Stop chasing a lower number
