With Winter Storm Fern moving through Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee this weekend, the teams at Oaks Senior Living are fully prepared and on high alert. Our top priority is ensuring that every resident remains safe, comfortable, and well-cared for during the upcoming snow and ice.

To prepare, our communities have already secured extra stockpiles of food, water, and essential medical supplies. Our maintenance teams have been working hard to pre-treat all walkways and entryways to prevent hazardous ice build-up. Most importantly, our dedicated care partners are prepared to stay on-site around the clock to provide uninterrupted support and a "family" atmosphere, regardless of the conditions outside.

While we encourage all of our families to stay safe and remain off the roads this weekend, rest assured that your loved ones are in excellent hands—warm, well-fed, and surrounded by a team that loves them.

Oaks Senior Living had the honor of attending and sponsoring the 2025 Georgia Senior Living Association Conference in Savannah, Georgia. Our teams from across the state came together to collaborate, learn, and share best practices that help us continue providing exceptional care and service to our residents.

Throughout the conference, our leaders connected over innovative ideas, explored emerging trends in senior living, and celebrated the meaningful impact we make in the lives of seniors and their families every day. We even had the opportunity to spearhead these crucial conversations as a number of our OSL team members lead break out meetings and round table discussions.
