As a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Loetscher manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Loetscher practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from implant reconstructive surgery to corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal. In addition, Dr. Loetscher has one of the largest and most reputable dental implant practices in the southeast United States. Dr. Loetscher and his staff are fully trained in the administration of anesthesia, both general anesthesia and I.V. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. In addition, general anesthesia provided by a board certified anesthesiologist, Howard Odom, MD, is available within our facility.

When Dr. Loetscher evaluated Yan’s X-rays and airway; he immediately saw evidence of sleep apnea as well as a significant open bite that was affecting both function and health. He recommended orthognathic surgery to correct the open bite, open Yan’s airway, restore healthy breathing, and dramatically improve his sleep and overall quality of life.
