When stress builds over time, the nervous system becomes more reactive. What feels like an overreaction is often a sign of overload rather than weakness. Therapy helps identify what is already taxing your system so smaller stressors no longer feel unbearable.

Love shows up in many forms: romantic partnerships, friendships, family bonds, and the relationship we have with ourselves. 💗

Healthy relationships aren't about perfection. They're built on communication, respect, boundaries, and the courage to be vulnerable.

This Valentine's Day, we're honoring all the ways you show up for the people in your life and for yourself.

What's one thing that makes you feel loved and supported?

Your inner child is paying attention to how the world feels right now.

Healing is not pretending things are okay. It is noticing when you feel small, tense, or overwhelmed and choosing to respond with more care than you were once given.

It can look like resting without earning it. Setting boundaries without over explaining. Letting yourself feel what comes up instead of pushing it away.

If something online stirred you today, your reaction makes sense. Your nervous system remembers, and you are allowed to move through the world with more softness toward yourself.

If this resonates, take a breath, save this for later, or share it with someone who may need the reminder. And if you are ready for deeper support, our team is here when you need us.

This Black History Month, we want to acknowledge that moments in the news and online can bring up a wide range of emotions for many people, especially when content feels hurtful, divisive, or dehumanizing.

As a mental health practice, our role is not to debate headlines, but to hold space for the real impact they can have on people’s nervous systems, sense of safety, and overall well-being. History, identity, and lived experience matter, and so does having support when the world feels heavy.

We remain committed to creating a space that is respectful, culturally aware, and affirming for the communities we serve. If you find yourself needing extra care, grounding, or a place to process, you are not alone.

Support is here when you need it. 🖤

Movement supports mental health.

Physical activity isn’t just about fitness. It helps regulate stress, boost mood, and support overall emotional well-being.

The best kind of exercise is the one you’ll actually do. Walking, yoga, swimming, cycling. Gentle or intense, it all counts.

It’s hard to take care of yourself when everything feels heavy, and that’s exactly when it matters most.

We’re living in a constant state of urgency: breaking news, endless opinions, and pressure to keep up or speak up. Your nervous system isn’t built for this level of ongoing stress.

Small moments of regulation matter more than grand solutions right now. Stepping outside. Unclenching your jaw. Turning the news off for an evening. Reaching for connection instead of doom-scrolling.

Caring for yourself doesn’t mean you don’t care about the world. It means you’re protecting your ability to stay present, compassionate, and engaged over the long term.

You don’t have to carry the whole world alone.

It’s okay to ask for help, especially right now.

Anxiety does not live in the logical part of the brain. It is driven by the nervous system, not thoughts alone. Therapy focuses on tools that help the body feel safe, which makes rational thinking more accessible again.

Our therapists are here to support you when you're ready.
