Traditionally, a doctor practicing conventional medicine uses drugs or surgery as tools to deal with dysfunction, disease and pain. The standard model of care is generally the same—whether the condition is low thyroid, diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, arthritis, tendonitis, disc degeneration, cartilage wear and beyond. When drugs or surgery fail to deliver the desired results, many patients become frustrated in their journey toward health and wellness. They feel unheard by their doctors and unsupported in their search for answers.
