Violations are issued in accordance with Georgia Code O.C.G.A. § 40-14-18, which allows for the use of automated speed detection devices in school zones from one hour prior to the start of the school day, until one hour after the end of the school day. This includes "the time in which instructional classes are taking place." The posted times regulate the strictness of the enforcement, as that is when children are actively coming and going from the school.

So, please pay attention to those school speed zones.

Do you know three of the top reasons people haven’t learned CPR?
💰 the cost
⏰ the time
😧 the fear of doing something wrong

Well the Rotary Club of North Fulton has the answer to that….if you’re worried about the cost, this class is for you…it’s FREE. Maybe you’re worried about the time it takes to learn….these classes are short. We’re talking under 2 hours. And if you’re afraid…well everyone is, but learning how to save a life is easier than you’d think.

This coming Saturday, March 15th, Rotary Club of North Fulton and the Fire Departments of Alpharetta and Roswell will be hosting a CPR-AED Class for the citizens of North Fulton. Two classes are planned at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital - one at 9 am and a second at 11 am.
