Strike Out Su***de & Overdose! 🎳 Our Kumeyaay Wellness Center and Prevention teams hosted a family-friendly bowling bash, bringing the community together for a night of strikes, pizza, and support.

Events like this aren’t just fun… they’re powerful. Creating safe, sober spaces helps build connection, reduce stigma, and promote healing. Plus, with Narcan resources on hand, our community is empowered with tools to save lives.

Thanks to everyone who came out to bowl, laugh, and support one another. Together, we’re making wellness the winning lane!

What a smash hit! 💃🕺 Everyone got dressed up, danced, and came together to celebrate the heartbeat of our community… our Elders! ❤️

The Elders Prom was was a tribute to the wisdom, resilience, and love our Elders share with us every day. Elders are our teachers, our storytellers, and our protectors of tradition. Their strength and spirit guide us forward.

On November 13, 2025, the Kumeyaay Nation Flag Raising Ceremony took place at the County of San Diego Administration Building, marking a historic step forward in collaboration between the tribes of San Diego and county leadership.

With leaders like Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer, , , Little Miss Kumeyaay Nation Helena, and Miss Kumeyaay Nation .lyn in attendance—alongside many other respected tribal and government representatives—this event celebrated shared commitment to working together for the betterment of all.

The future is bright when we rise together! 🏳️🦅

Southern Indian Health Council was honored to welcome Darrell LaRouche, Acting Deputy Director of Indian Health Service, along with IHS leadership, for a site visit to our community health center. We shared our current services and future expansion plans to continue strengthening care for our Native communities and all people in East County San Diego.
