⚠️ What’s Worse Than Fentanyl? Meet Xylazine – the “Zombie Drug” That Has Its Own Set of Dangers.

Xylazine is a powerful animal tranquilizer never meant for human use — but it’s showing up more and more in street drugs, especially when mixed with fentanyl. It can slow breathing, drop blood pressure, and cause raw, open skin wounds. Worst of all? Xylazine isn’t an opioid, so Narcan (naloxone) won’t reverse its effects directly.

But here’s why Narcan still matters: Most Xylazine overdoses also involve opioids like fentanyl — and Narcan can reverse those. Administering Narcan could still save a life while waiting for emergency help.

🧠 Stay informed. Stay prepared. Your awareness could be someone’s second chance.
