Many of our elderly loved ones are silently suffering abuse and neglect at the hand of care providers and administrators working within Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly.

Many of the elderly residents living in these types of facilities have loved ones that routinely check-up on them to ensure that they are being well taken care of. But there are also those elderly residents that don't have any loved ones that checks on them and they are the elderly that become targets for abuse.

A large number of facilties within San Diego County tend to use multiple antipsychotic medications on the elderly as a means of chemical restraints as opposed to providing care. Some suffer dehydration and malnutrition while others suffer from physical and verbal battery as well as sexual assaults. If a family member or friend of an elderly resident of a care facility suspects abuse is occurring they are typically directed to file a complaint against the facility with the Community Care Licensing Agency which is a Division of the Department of Social Services.

After a complaint is submitted all you could do next is sit back and not only wait for an investigation to take place, but you had better pray that the investigation is being conducted honestly and that the LAP investigating the complaint allegations is not accepting financial compensation to discredit the allegations (Google: "State Licensing Bribery Investigation:).

My goal is to set up a couple of teams that will routinely travel to various care facilities within San Diego County and visit with the elderly residents to make sure that they are not secretly suffering from abuse. These facilties are open facilities therefore our entry into these facilities can not be blocked and can be made unannounced. I have personally exhausted my resources in conducting such visits which some have concluded with great achievements.

This work is important and our elderly need to be protected. Unfortunately, we can not rely on the state to oversee these facilities when their agents have been found to be corrupt and easily bought off. This means that our elderly need to be protected by us, (the community). Won't you help me help them?

Today I found that another elderly woman was moved into the Ambassador Senior Retreat in San Diego, California, who, immediately after moving in, her health and cognitive abilities had rapidly deteriorated and then quickly and suddenly died.

Ambassador Senior Retreat has been using antipsychotics to chemically restrain their elderly residents. The administrator of the elderly care facility has been providing the elderly in her homes (Yes "home(s)") she operates 5 facilities in San Diego, all of which the elderly residents are being served unhealthy and spoiled food, over-medicated with antipsychotics, physically and emotionally abused and/or neglected. An unbelievably large number of complaints and violations have been and continue to be filed against her and her many facilities. Channel 8 News did their own investigation on the facilities and found that the reason the administrator was able to get away with what she was doing for so long was because she was providing bribe money to State licensing agents to cover-up the on-going violations and to discredit any complaints filed against them. This investigation that exposed what was going on took place in 2011. It's now 2018 and there has been no justice provided for the elderly who suffered while purportedly under the care of these facilities. Nor have the family or friends of the elderly who was suffering abuse or neglect receive justice for the pain and suffering that they endured at the hand of the Ambassador Senior Retreat facilities. So at the present time, I am personally going to have to put traveling to various facilities to seek out abusive care because of the Ambassador Senior Retreat. The other members of my team will of course conti i.e. in their work, but for me at the moment need to focus of getting these facilities shut down and the administrator locked up in prison where she belongs. And in case I didn't mention it; my mother was place in Ambassador Senior Retreat by a despicable conservator and her money hungry attorney. And yes, my mother was horribly abused, undernourished, over-medicated and isolated. And yes I filed a complaint with the proper State agency, and yes, that complaint was discredited by a crooked State licensing agent who sold out her duty to protect the elderly from abuse for a pocket full of cash. So yes, this is personal for me. But getting these facilities shut down is not going to be easy and I could really use your help, a gift of any amount to help me get these facilities shut down for good would be greatly appreciated. I just want to say thank you to everybody who has taken the time to view my campaign and have shared it as well. I just wish that i knew how better to express how important it is monitor the care elderly are recieving in care facilities. And it doesn't matter if you know the elderly individual or not because all of them are vulnerable and potential targets for abuse. Unfortunately i haven't been able to go to too many facilities lately due to financial hardship, but i scrape together wjat i can and keep pushing forward. So THANK YOU ALL and God Bless

Evelyn was 74 years old when she passed away. It's been 5 years since she was taken away from her home and her husband of 55 years. In August of 2005, Evelyn became a named plaintiff in a dissolution of marriage action that was filed against her husband. This legal action filed against her husband had nothing to do with Evelyn wanting a divorce, because she didn't. But unfortunately Evelyn was under a court appointed conservatorship and it was the conservator who was the driving force for the divorce. You see, the conservators plan was to divorce Evelyn from her husband simply for the division of property which would have been 3Mil for Evelyn. Only she would never see any of it bec as use after the conservator divorced Evelyn from her husband and there was a division of property, Evelyn's share of the assets went straight into the conservator's hands from where the conservator had no trouble blowing through it in no time. The amazing thing is that the conservator spent none of Evelyn's money on Evelyn.
