Today the residents held their annual “Employee Appreciation” event to thank the MonteCedro team for their dedication and hard work during the past year. Team members were invited to attend and pick up a gift, before joining the residents for conversation and holiday treats. It is always a special day and means so much to everyone!

Last night the MonteCedro Team enjoyed their annual holiday party. With amazing food, delicious desserts, fantastic giveaways, and dancing - it was the perfect way to enjoy each other’s company and usher in the holiday season!

This year is MonteCedro’s 10th Toy Drive in partnership with the Altadena Sheriff’s Department. Today, the Sheriffs arrived and loaded hundreds of toys in to their vans to be distributed to the children of Altadena. The residents could not be happier to give back to their community, especially after all of the tragedy this past year, with the Eaton Fire. May this holiday season bring joy to everyone.

Yesterday, we welcomed Phase II future residents to join current residents and ECS Leadership for a festive celebration at the Athenaeum. What a kick-off it was to the holiday season!

Tonight, MonteCedro celebrated its annual “Light the Holidays” event. The night began with carolers filling the auditorium with holiday cheer before leading the residents to the main Christmas tree, in the lobby, for the tree lighting. After beautiful words by our Chaplain and a warm welcome to the season by our Executive Director, the tree was illuminated in twinkling lights. Everyone then moved into Station 8, for “Festive Hour,” to enjoy beverages, sweets, and warm appetizers. It was the perfect kickoff to the holiday season.

Today, the Courtyard (memory care community) residents were treated to a relaxed performance of “A Christmas Carol,” at A Noise Within theater, in Pasadena. Everyone had a wonderful time, it was the perfect event to kick off the holiday season!

Thank You to our Creative Living partners at “A Noise Within” for making the residents feel so welcome and providing such a wonderful show for them to enjoy.
