Yoga is so vast in its modalities and it is so fascinating. Please contact me if you are interested in my products or yoga classes I came to the United States 23 years ago, after being born and raised in Italy. My Father was a professional motorcycle racer, and a great example of a self-made man. He always believed in himself and he held the values of the family close to his heart. He taught me the same. My Mother was a very sweet, and beautiful woman who taught me kindness and style. As a student in Rome, I studied Fashion Design, but I also enjoyed working many years in my Father’s company. It was only about 17 years ago, I discovered Yoga in California. The knowledge, science and technology of Yoga is vast and it will take me 10 lifetimes to even master a small part of it. I grew up playing sports, and always believed in the benefits of being active and travelling as much as possible. After my Father was diagnosed with cancer, I fell into depression for a year. That is when I started practicing yoga. After a couple of months of committed practice, I started feeling so much better. My circumstances had not changed, but the positive, deep changes in my emotions were quickly evident. Since then, I trained to teach Kundalini Yoga and Hatha Yoga and have been teaching and practicing since then. Though this is an “about me” section, it is not about me. It is about how can I help others heal, and better go through their life journey through yoga. I have identified 4 major steps:
#1 “Where You Stumble, There Lies your Treasure”
This means to realize that when you come against an obstacle, a limitation or a block, the answer is right there in front of you. Learning to work on, learn more about, and accept what you are resisting will help you succeed.
#2 “Start Again With Every Moment”
This means to stop, pause, and accept that falling rising is part of growth. By starting again, you continue to progress.
#3 “Be the Captain of Your Own Ship”
This represents the control that we can gain over our own mind while practicing yoga. This can include working with energies, breath, and movement. We create a state of being that is conducive to Peace, Productivity, and Joy. Through this, we can accept Suffering as part of Life.
#4 “Why Medicate When You Can Meditate?”
I don’t mean to offend anyone with this statement because in certain cases we need to take medications but if we commit to meditate every day we will surely need less pills. My hope for this line of t-shirts and hoodies is to remind you to stay concentrated and know there is always a way to cut through the obstacles of the mind. To always have faith and be persistent in your search for the truth. Blessings to you! Let's do yoga together!
