Antonella For Yoga

Antonella For Yoga I am very passionate about teaching yoga and producing items that remind me about life quest for ultimate or relative truth. My name is Antonella.

Yoga is so vast in its modalities and it is so fascinating. Please contact me if you are interested in my products or yoga classes I came to the United States 23 years ago, after being born and raised in Italy. My Father was a professional motorcycle racer, and a great example of a self-made man. He always believed in himself and he held the values of the family close to his heart. He taught me the same. My Mother was a very sweet, and beautiful woman who taught me kindness and style. As a student in Rome, I studied Fashion Design, but I also enjoyed working many years in my Father’s company. It was only about 17 years ago, I discovered Yoga in California. The knowledge, science and technology of Yoga is vast and it will take me 10 lifetimes to even master a small part of it. I grew up playing sports, and always believed in the benefits of being active and travelling as much as possible. After my Father was diagnosed with cancer, I fell into depression for a year. That is when I started practicing yoga. After a couple of months of committed practice, I started feeling so much better. My circumstances had not changed, but the positive, deep changes in my emotions were quickly evident. Since then, I trained to teach Kundalini Yoga and Hatha Yoga and have been teaching and practicing since then. Though this is an “about me” section, it is not about me. It is about how can I help others heal, and better go through their life journey through yoga. I have identified 4 major steps:

#1 “Where You Stumble, There Lies your Treasure”
This means to realize that when you come against an obstacle, a limitation or a block, the answer is right there in front of you. Learning to work on, learn more about, and accept what you are resisting will help you succeed.

#2 “Start Again With Every Moment”
This means to stop, pause, and accept that falling rising is part of growth. By starting again, you continue to progress.

#3 “Be the Captain of Your Own Ship”
This represents the control that we can gain over our own mind while practicing yoga. This can include working with energies, breath, and movement. We create a state of being that is conducive to Peace, Productivity, and Joy. Through this, we can accept Suffering as part of Life.

#4 “Why Medicate When You Can Meditate?”
I don’t mean to offend anyone with this statement because in certain cases we need to take medications but if we commit to meditate every day we will surely need less pills. My hope for this line of t-shirts and hoodies is to remind you to stay concentrated and know there is always a way to cut through the obstacles of the mind. To always have faith and be persistent in your search for the truth. Blessings to you! Let's do yoga together!

Warrior I Virabhadrasana I.🔥 Spiritually this pose which is a strength pose allows us to look at the source of human suffering: Self-ignorance . Self ignorance has a broad spectrum of meaning such as literally “ ignoring the Self”, ignoring that we are not just our thoughts, emotions, reactions, attachments but also a presence that observes all@of the above.🎈We try and we sit in meditation and we repeat. Even if we get a little glimpse of what it is to observe and stay still that little fraction of the second will help us immensely, it will give us a lot@of freedom. Can we get to a point in which we say “ me within me I am free” . It is not an easy task but as spiritual warriors with every breath we begin again. We are also human so it is normal to feel, angry, disappointed, heartbroken and lost at times but we are all together in this and we heal together and lift up each other .💪 Keep up the practice beautiful Warriors, may the Force of awareness be always with you 💕

Do you listen to your heart? ❤️ How does you nourish your heart?❤️ when I meditate and create space around emotions and thoughts and I don’t take too seriously the samsara of life , there is a possibility of a warm 💜 heart on a gloomy day 🙏🏻🤗

Beloved God, Universe, Higher Energy , Self 🙏🏻Help me to watch my life 👀 so that every moment serves my highest purpose 🙏🏻 May awareness and mindfulness be always with me so I can choose goodness at all times. 💕 In the samsara of this life and the presence of duality in everything we do May I be strong to keep my concentration on what matters , the abstract but tangible love in all its forms from above to humanity and humanity to above🐬

Gurudasana variation or Goddess variation ? It does not matter. We have such a innate need to give names to forms , we watch something and the mind tries to wrap that in a bow with a name, something happens to us and the brain associates it with all the similar happenings of the past. If only we could stay at the edge, before the naming and the judging and the associating there would exist so much more space for acceptance, growth and enjoyment…..🤷‍♀️🙏🏻💕

I love this verse from Poet Dorothy Hunt “ Peace is this moment without judgement. This moment in the heart-space where everything that is , is welcome “. 💕😊🙏🏻 when we are surprised by a beautiful sudden view of Nature , in that second there is peace , there is no judgement, no worries, no fear. In that Awe we experience the Nature of the mind . Our ordinary mind has stopped for a second. In meditation we work in order to stay in that forever present and spacious ground.

Caesars Forum 🤩 46 Bc 🙂 Amazing Rome - We have to know the past to understand the present ( C. Sagan) This is true for Yoga too. Many scholars are involved in understanding how did we get to the yoga that we practice today. I always ask in my classes the reasons why the practitioners came to the class on that day. I receive all sorts of answers and those answers are all valid.
I relate to the primordial reasons and mostly to find an even mindedness in a world and in a life that is sometimes chaotic , sometimes beautiful, sometimes harsh so that I can find the goodness within the chaos, within the changes. That goodness sits within me.
Goodness at the beginning, goodness in the middle, goodness , goodness at the end

May I show all the love I have in any way I can. Here, now, and all the time. To everyone - including me - Since love is what we are And what we are here to show. Now nothing matters more than love Or gives me greater joy. May all our world become One Sacred Heart of Love. By David Richo.

Condolences in Response to the Death of Archbishop Desmond Tutu

Thekchen Chöling, Dharamsala, HP, India, December 26, 2021 - Immediately on being informed that his “respected elder spiritual brother and good friend” Archbishop Desmond Tutu had passed away, His Holiness the Dalai Lama composed a letter to the Archbishop’s daughter, Rev. Mpho Tutu.

“Please accept my heartfelt condolences,” he wrote, “and convey the same to your mother and other members of your family. I pray for him.

“As you know, over the years, your father and I enjoyed an enduring friendship. I remember the many occasions we spent time together, including the week here at Dharamsala in 2015 when we were able to share our thoughts on how to increase peace and joy in the world. The friendship and the spiritual bond between us was something we cherished.

“Archbishop Desmond Tutu was entirely dedicated to serving his brothers and sisters for the greater common good. He was a true humanitarian and a committed advocate of human rights. His work for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission was an inspiration for others around the world.

“With his passing away, we have lost a great man, who lived a truly meaningful life. He was devoted to the service of others, especially those who are least fortunate. I am convinced the best tribute we can pay him and keep his spirit alive is to do as he did and constantly look to see how we too can be of help to others.”

Overcoming limiting beliefs is like traveling . When you travel you are open and awake to your adventure. Some good moments, unpleasant ones, moments of joy , moments of sorrow, surprises and frustration but overall we return from a trip enriched, Fuller , expanded in our way of seeing things. Not having awareness and living a life without even recognizing the limits that you have created for yourself , your boxed life, when in reality there are infinite possibilities it is living this precious life at a low vibration. Even doing the same type of yoga over and over relates to that aspect. There are so many forms of yoga and yes you will choose and like some more than others but explore what is available for your own journey.🌈come and explore Kundalini Yoga with me today @ Curative yoga at 5:30 pm Pacific time. Available streaming and in- person class in Pasadena. Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness. Come not knowing what you will be doing, through breath work, movements, chanting and much more you will be working on your energy, nervous system, glandular system and immune system. I grieve the loss of what life was before C19. I miss a class full of familiar faces and the opportunity to meet new people. However we have to adapt, feel, hope and do our best in a world that is a mess, it has always been a mess between the beauty and the the troubles, behind the joy and the sadness the only place to take refuge is within us. The more we ground within the more we can offer to others.
🙏🏻 Come and relax with a yin class Wednesdays at 5:30 pm

The good news is that we were given free will. 🍀🦄And with that I mean the will to choose where to focus our attention. 🌟Everything exists simultaneously in our life but we can rest our mind where it is more beneficial for an improved sense of wellbeing. For example, we know we have confusion and neurosis but we also have the inner child like quality within us. We can feel fresh, inquisitive and sparkling. 😀🌞🤗What are you focusing on today?

Svata**ra!
11/24/2020

Svata**ra!

Svata**ra, means the technique, method to handle yourself. Sva.-ta**ra. Sva means self; ta**ra means technique, ability to handle. If you are able to handle, you have Svata**ra. If you are able to handle, you have freedom. Only if you are able to handle yourself you have freedom.
