2026 Nursing Home Week is quickly approaching, and we are busy planning a full week of fun and meaningful activities for our residents and staff!

We are currently seeking Thrivent Action Team cards to help offset the cost of these special events. If you or someone you know would be willing to support Nursing Home Week in this way, we would greatly appreciate it.

We are so grateful to everyone who blessed our residents this Easter season!

Our bake sale was a huge success, with all proceeds going directly to our Activity Department to support meaningful experiences for our residents. A special thank you to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham for also hosting a bake sale in honor of LCC—we truly appreciate your generosity!

We were also blessed by the First United Methodist Church, who performed a beautiful Easter Cantata in our chapel on Saturday, 4/4. It was a wonderful time of worship and reflection.

Students participated in our annual coloring contest—congratulations to all of our winners!
In addition, ALIS and the 4th grade students at AGS brightened our residents’ days by creating heartfelt cards.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this Easter season so special for our residents!

NOW HIRING!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients in a skilled nursing facility promoting independence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs), as well as knowledge in physiology and anatomy to support patient rehabilitation and recovery.
