A healthy lifestyle can be very easy and is very easy, if you make it simple. Nowadays, everybody that is “healthy“ is tracking their sleep, their diet, their workouts, and trying to maximize every aspect of their life.
I feel like for a lot of people having a healthy lifestyle might seem out of reach without all of that cool “tech” and “science” that goes with being healthy. Sauna, cold plunge, tracking calories/macros, whoop strap, garmin, “is this vitamin good?”, “Is this exercise safe?” are things that get brought up a lot by my patients trying to maximize their health. Social media basically ruined health and fitness, but the pendulum will always swing the other way.
Truth is simplicity is key! Simplicity is boring. Simplicity is not sexy and simplicity won’t get you “likes”.
But on the other hand there’s a lot of people on here that take simplicity to the next level via carnivore diet, tanning their balls or butt hole, juicing all the vegetables.
What if I told you that most of us just need to eat more protein, eat more whole foods, eat a variety of foods, eat slower, chew your food, get some sun in the morning and in the afternoon, get 7+ hours of sleep, and limit processed foods.
And if you want that “cherry on top”, go get adjusted by a good chiropractor. I know almost anyone can benefit from chiropractic in some way or form. No, I’m not biased at all…
