We help patients and families build strength and independence through balance exercises, mobility training, and home safety education. Before discharge, our team educates our patients and caregivers on home safety by providing home checklists and tips on preventing falls.

We help families and caregivers manage challenges related to mobility and daily function. We offer support groups for conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, amputation, and even one specifically for caregivers. Patients and their loved ones can attend these support groups where they hear from other’s experiences, learn about available resources and know they aren’t alone. Our hospital Case Managers assist our patients and loved ones to prepare for their return to their community with the resources they need to enjoy life at the fullest.

This designation recognizes both the exemplary performance in the clinical management of patients requiring rehabilitation from a disabling disease or injury, as well as the specialized rehabilitation and medical treatments provided to patients who have suffered a stroke.

It’s that fun time of year with holiday events and social gatherings. However, it’s also flu season. We recognize National Influenza Vaccination Week, and our hospitals follow all state and national guidelines for vaccine administration and tracking for our employees and our patients. As available, we also offer influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations to our patients. We ask our team members to wear masks if they can’t be vaccinated, and we encourage all of our visitors to refrain from visiting if they have recently been ill or currently have any flu symptoms.
