We have been taught that life is a journey but what has not been said is that every journey has a destination...so many of us begin the journey, without knowing where we are going and so we often get lost along the way.....and then give up. It is never okay to "give up". We can stumble, fall and sometimes lay down, but remember, when we are 'down' the only way we can go is 'up', so if you are 'down' today...just "look up and get up". Peace and love!

Our Story

NYOKAPLACE, INC. - A Lighthouse in the Storms of Life - At NYOKA PLACE, we understand that it takes a village to raise a child. Our goal therefore is to partner with children, adults, families, service providers, medical & psychiatric professionals, teachers and guidance counselors as we endeavor to meet the needs of our clients. We began providing psychotherapy services in August 2008, providing a “Lighthouse” for individuals who feel overwhelmed by the stressors of life. Individual, couples and families have been able to find a place of acceptance within the walls of the office, where they can he heard, validated and provided with therapeutic interventions that assist in building a strong emotional self.
