Meet Kourtney Smith (she/her), LoveYourBrain Mindset facilitator of our BIPOC Affinity Group this fall! 🍁
Kourtney is passionate about creating affirming spaces for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) who are affected by TBI. She shares, "This group is so valuable to the TBI community because every TBI experience is unique, and even more so within different cultural communities. It's essential for those in minority groups to have a space where they can freely express themselves with those who look like them, come from similar backgrounds & they feel they can relate to on a deeper level. TBI's can create so much isolation. Having this group allows BIPOC individuals to feel a more connected sense of community & visibility."
