We thank everyone for their continued support!

Hello Everyone!
We have a much anticipated update!

First off we would like to thank everyone for checking in on us and our staff during this transition, this community is so amazing and we are so grateful for your ongoing support! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

---

We have been made aware that our former management company, Subsero, is trying to open a dispensary in our old location under the name "Terrace on Broadway". We would like to make it abundantly clear that we are not affiliated with them, and do not support their attempt in re-establishing a business here in Alton. This Community deserves better.

---

As for Re-Opening!

On February 14th an amendment was passed by Alton City Council that allowed our new property to be re-zoned for the sale of c@nnabis (Yay!). This was a HUGE step forward in our process for reopening.

- So What is Next?

As soon as the city of Alton approves it - We will be placing a temporary structure on our new property so that we can resume operations while we continue to remodel our main building. As soon as this temporary structure is approved we should be up and running within a week or so!

- How Can You Help?

Keep writing, calling, emailing, (whatever communication method you prefer) to your local city alderman/alderwoman in support! The faster we can get approval for our temporary structure - the sooner we can be back open and have our amazing staff back at work! Your voices matter, and we need your support more than ever now! Let's do this Alton!

We’ve had a large amount of inquiries today in regard to our old building, and the dispensary that is attempting to open there.

Terrace on Broadway has no affiliation with us, that location is owned by Subsero, the company that we (along with several other dispensaries) are in active litigation with.

They are attempting to open before us, purely to block our reopening as there can only be one dispensary per zone in Alton (upper Alton and lower Alton). They have actively been interfering with our reopening by trying to stall and hinder us in every step of this process - we will not be discouraged.

Keep voicing your concerns to city council, we do not want a company with multiple fraud lawsuits back here in our city! ALTON DESERVES BETTER.

We thank you all for your continued support, we can’t wait to see you all again soon!

🌿Hey Friends!

I know we dropped a pretty big update last evening! We need our temporary structure approved so we can see all of your smiling faces again once more!
(We Miss You All!)

We've had a lot of people reach out asking how they can help - here's how!

We made simple template you can use to write to your alderman/alderwoman asking for their continued support in the approval of our temporary structure!

I'm [Your Name], a proud resident of [Your City], writing to ask for your support in approving The Alton Dispensary's temporary structure on their new property at 3401 E. We love to see this!

We can't wait to see our wonderful customers again, but in the meantime, you can see some of us tonight at Old Bakery!

Some of our awesome employees volunteer in various ways with the OWLs, and we love supporting our neighbors in need. If you are free tonight, consider popping down there and contributing to this amazing community cause.

Thank you all for the great turnout for Drink for a Cause tonight already! We are pausing food to go orders so that our kitchen can take care of our tables. We’d still love to sell you some beer to go though!
Happy Drink for a Cause + Pizza Thursday! 25% of ALL beer and Herbarium sales will go to benefit the Overnight Warming Locations! This applies to beer and tea purchased for here and to go all day long, so come stock up!
Today’s specialty pizza is topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, jalapeño, and pineapple!

Hey, folks, we're still temporarily closed for our move.

But, you were so incredible at helping our neighbors with our food drive. We hope you'll act in that same spirit of generosity now as temperatures are plummeting this weekend.

Attached is a wishlist from the Overnight Warming Locations. This is stuff for which our neighbors have expressed a direct need. We sincerely hope our amazing customers help fulfill it for them.

Can't wait to see you again. We miss you as much as you miss us. See ya soon.

We may be temporarily closed, but, we certainly left a very good memory behind in our old building.

Thanks to our amazing customers, we were able to bring as many as 30 crates of food to our neighbors. You brought some great stuff as well.

This wonderful card from Crisis Food Center belongs to you folks. These sentiments are directed to you and your kindness.

We can't wait to reopen and have more opportunities to be good neighbors and help those who need it. We all need it sometimes.

Keep being kind during our absence! We'll be back soon! Let's continue doing good together!
