Just a couple of my postpartum meals served mostly in bed.

Near identical calories but one is higher in protein, fiber, nutrients, and VOLUME!

When looking for a balanced meal that will keep you full and satisfied this is your checklist!
✅Protein >35g
✅Fiber +7g
✅VOLUME

High nutrient foods like vegetables and fruits will create volume and fiber in your meals.

We cannot regulate your cortisol or get your body out of “fight or flight” without lifestyle changes.

Your hormones tell a story! And that story is about how you have been living your life. How you have been nourishing yourself, resting, moving, and managing your stress.

It took you years to get to a point of imbalance, it will take some time and work to get things back on track, to repair the damage. Supplements alone CANNOT do this. You MUST adjust your lifestyle and diet ALSO.

If you want to function better you need to look beyond the macronutrients in your food ✨

I GET IT! Macros can be VERY beneficial when attempting to gain muscle, lose fat, balance blood sugar, and eat a balanced meal. I’m ALL for it!

BUT I can create a meal with the same macros using all processed, low quality, nutrient poor foods. Which is why it is important to look beyond just your macronutrients. It’s micronutrients, vitamins, minerals, probiotics, fiber, etc that make your body function; heal your gut, produce energy, balance your hormones, clear your skin, run your detoxification pathways, etc.
