What an amazing Tuesday night class!! Dr Elizabeth presented on brain development and children’s behaviors to a group of moms, teachers, and educational professionals. She gave us an overview of the brain-spine connection, effects of stress on the brain, how this manifests in behaviors or symptoms in children and teens, and actions steps to help kids reach their full potential. As a FOCUS certified chiropractor, Dr Elizabeth uses a brain-based developmental model of care to help patient families reach goals like better neurological regulation, behavior, and developmental growth. We received great feedback from those who attended the class and are looking forward to offering it again in the future. Our favorite panel was back for the Women of Vision luncheon yesterday! The topic was Metabolic Health and each speaker chose a little different route to give some of the best and useful information.

Today our pharmacist Jen Alexander presented at the Women of Vision lunch with the Altoona Chamber of Commerce.
