Peerstar provides certified peer support services and forensic peer support services to adults in the Pennsylvania counties of Armstrong, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield, Franklin, Fulton, Indiana, Jefferson, Potter, and Somerset and in the cities of Bellefonte, Boalsburg, Chambersburg, Clarion, Dubois, Duncanville, Ebensburg, Fayetteville, Greencastle, Hollidaysburg, Johnstown, Lewistown, Loch Haven, Mcconnellsburg, Mercersburg, Philipsburg, Punxsutawney, Shippensburg, State College, Tyrone, Waynesboro. Peerstar's leading recovery-based certified peer support services are available to individuals recovering from mental illnesses and/or substance abuse disorders who are eligible to receive Medical Assistance benefits from PA-DPW. Peerstar's leading forensic peer support services are available inside prisons and in the community to individuals involved with the criminal justice system who are suffering from mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders.

Not everyone who struggles with alcohol looks like they’re struggling. Not everyone who’s questioning their relationship with alcohol talks about it out loud.

And on a Monday, when everything resets, it can hit a little harder.

Blair County Nami is a great organization in the Blair County, PA area! They are the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nations largest grassroots mental health organization. They serve as Blair County's voice for mental health support, education, and advocacy!

Nami Blair offers FREE peer led support groups! They provide a safe, welcoming space, for individuals, families, and even children!

They focus on increasing awareness, promoting early intervention, and strengthening community understanding!

Nami is open to the public and offered at no cost.
