Your recovery journey is unique. Your recovery journey will be challenging. Your recovery journey can have support.

Why is it important to have people to connect with during your most vulnerable time? Because it allows a safe space and support for when you feel like you may be lost, confused, or broken.

Our goal when providing Peer Support Services is to give you that connection. To connect you with a Peer Support Specialist that gives you a space to connect, space to be understood, and a space to start feeling like you can trust someone.

Through our rigorous training efforts and continued support from our in home team, we provide significant support to our staff so they can provide support to you! We provide this so they are able to be open minded and start to feel connected! This ultimately supports you!

We are SUPPORT THAT UNDERSTANDS, so being able to connect, relate, and support comes naturally to some of us. We are here to enhance your pathway to recovery.

NAMI In Our Own Voice is an interactive presentation that provides insight into what it’s like to live with mental illness. The presentation is led by two adults living with mental health conditions and includes video and discussion. Audiences are given a safe space to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of an often misunderstood topic. Through dialogue, we help grow the movement to build better lives.

This interactive presentation will take place at the Altoona Public Library on August 14th at 6:00 pm in the theater.
