Good morning everyone! We are continuing to move forward with our re-branding campaign. As part of this process we are migrating all of our websites and social media pages to fall under the Metro EyeCare Associates name. Soon you will hear "Metro EyeCare" when the staff answers the phones, and you will see our Metro EyeCare logo at all of our locations. We have not been bought out, and there has been no change to the ownership/management team. We simply want to present one unified brand and patient experience across all of our locations.

And speaking of locations, we have finally moved into our new location at 1005 8th St SW, Suite A. The building directly to the west of our previous office. Signage will be coming soon! We hope to be back to patient care by Wednesday of this week. Stop by later this week to see the beautiful new space!

Thank you for your patience as we continue through this time of growth within our practice.

Time for a huge practice-wide update! We have been doing a ton of work behind the scenes and have fantastic news for all our offices and patients

1. First and foremost, we are beyond excited to welcome Dr. Jordan Ukena to the staff. She comes to us as a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry. She is an Iowa native and we are happy to welcome her back to the state and into our practice. Dr. Ukena will be working in all of our offices over the next few months and then she will be focusing on our Johnston office moving forward. Dr. Ukena will be starting with us in June 2021

2. Rebranding! Our offices are all being rebranded to fall under the "Metro EyeCare" name and logo. This has been in the works for 5 years, but we decided the time was right for us to start reworking our logos and signage so that all the offices have one look and one feel.

3. Altoona location. Our Altoona office will be moving in the next couple of months. The new location is 40 yards west of the current office. We have been fortunate enough and had such wonderful support from the community that we have outgrown our space. Keep an eye out for updates on the new location, it is looking pretty spectacular!

4. New website and social media. As part of our rebranding effort, we are also revamping our website to be a better representation of all our offices. We will be consolidating our social media pages under the Metro EyeCare logo and name as well. This will allow all our patients to have the same experience when searching for our offices.

5. New technologies and equipment. We are constantly working to improve the eye care experience for our patients. We have added new equipment and new services in all our offices to better serve the eye health and vision needs of our patients.

We are so thankful that you have entrusted us with your eye care needs. We look forward to continuing to provide the highest level of care and personalized customer service.
