The cemetery would like to thank the daughters of Galen Murray for the donation of the new flag in memory of their father. The flag is flying over the veterans section and looks beautiful!
We also want to thank Bills cousin Janet Bauer and her husband Ken for the donation of a 2nd flag that we can use as needed. That flag was donated in memory of John R. Forsht Sr .Thank you all for very very much !

I would like to take minute to thank the professionals who helped us with the cemetery clean up last week. Jim Bryan’s Tree Service did a wonderful job of cleaning up trees , branches and debris and left us a beautiful pile of ground up tree mulch to use in the cemetery. Jim got lots of exposure on TV news last week but Altoona Memorial Studio & Everett Marbel and Granite sent us a truck and crew who spent 2 days re setting stones that were knocked over by trees and branches. In 2 days they did more work than we could have done in 2 years and everything is done correctly!!!
Thank you, thank you , thank you to everyone who pitched in with their time and donations to help us get back on track for the summer! Today we are back to mowing and trimming and trying to get ready for Memorial Day! 🇺🇸

There was a tremendous amount of work got done today at the cemetery and I hope to post some pictures soon!
The chain that holds the flag to the pole was found approximately 150 yards from the flag pole!😳
We can’t begin to thank everyone who showed up today! But from the bottom of our heart we appreciate everyone of you❤️

Bill has decided to do clean up on Saturday at 9:30. All are welcome. Bring rakes,brooms and leaf blowers!
We will reschedule if it rains.

If anyone wants to help out cleaning up the storm damage feel free to start gathering sticks, small limbs , etc and pile it up close to the road. Once it is all gathered we will have someone come thru and chip it. Larger stuff has to wait until we can check and see if stones were damaged and have insurance adjuster come out.

Not a good morning. Please do not come in the cemetery. Tress are down everywhere and it is not safe.
