Calling all little hands! 🫶🏻
We are so excited to host a Make & Take Playdough event, and there are still spots open for your family to join us. ✨
This one is extra special because we’re teaming up with some of our favorite local friends to bring it to life: and .prettydrinks . It’s going to be such a sweet morning of creativity, connection, and community.
Your little ones will get to dig in, get creative, and bring home something they made with their own hands, while you get to slow down, sip something yummy, and connect with other mamas.
Tickets are $10 and spaces are filling up. If your family wants in, grab your spot here: https://luma.com/dvgqore1
We’d love to have you there! 🤍

✨ Office Update ✨

Just a quick heads up for our ACW family 💛

Dr. Whitney will be out of the office the first week of June taking a little time away. The office will be closed during that time, and we’ll resume normal hours the following week.

If you know you’ll need an adjustment before then, we recommend getting on the schedule soon so you can grab a spot that works best for you.

Thank you for always being so supportive and understanding. We’re grateful for this community and can’t wait to see you before and after the break. 🤍

Your nervous system has been working overtime.

Between work, parenting, schedules, lack of sleep, and the mental load of everyday life, your body has probably been handling more stress than it was designed to manage alone.

When your nervous system gets overwhelmed, it can show up as:

Feeling anxious
Feeling constantly on edge
Trouble focusing
Trouble resting

Support can make a big difference.

If it’s been a while since your last visit, this might be a good time to schedule a re-exam so we can see how your nervous system is adapting and what it might need right now.

The Mother’s Day Meetup was so much fun, I decided to make it a regular thing!!

Welcome to Coffee & Crafts — a monthly meetup created for moms who need a little connection, creativity, and caffeine in their lives. ☕️🧵✨

This is a relaxed, kid-friendly gathering where moms can slow down, meet new friends, and enjoy a fun hands-on craft together while little ones play nearby. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just coming for the coffee and conversation, you are welcome here.

This month, we’ll be creating DIY Market Tote Bags — the perfect custom tote for farmers markets, library trips, or everyday mom life.

Each $20 ticket includes:

• All supplies for the craft
• A handcrafted latte from .prettydrinks
• A cozy, welcoming space to connect with other local moms

PLUS: We’ll have another thrift popup from if you’re looking for some vintage treasures for your littles.

Come as you are, bring your babies or kiddos, and enjoy a morning of creating, connecting, and caffeinating with community. 💛

Spots are limited, so be sure to reserve yours early!

Sometimes anxiety shows up in the body before the mind.

Tight shoulders
Clenched jaw
Trouble sleeping
Feeling wired but exhausted

Your body is trying to tell you something.

The nervous system controls how your body responds to stress, and when it’s overwhelmed, those signals start showing up everywhere.

A lot of the moms who come into our office say the same thing:

“I didn’t realize how stressed my body actually was.”

If you’ve been feeling off lately, it might be time for a reset.

You can always book a new patient visit or re-exam and we’ll take a deeper look at what your nervous system has been carrying.

The mental load moms carry is real.

Remembering appointments.
School forms.
Meal planning.
Laundry.
Work.
Keeping tiny humans alive.

Your brain is doing a lot of invisible work every single day.

When the nervous system stays in stress mode long enough, anxiety and exhaustion often follow.

You don’t have to push through it forever.

Support matters.

Your kids’ big emotions might not be “just behavior.”

Kids’ nervous systems are still learning how to handle stress.

When their body feels overwhelmed it can look like:

Meltdowns
Trouble focusing
Trouble sleeping
Big reactions to small things

Their nervous system is trying to adapt.

Supporting that system can make a huge difference in how their body and brain regulate.

You’re not supposed to do motherhood in fight or flight.

Your body was designed to move between stress and calm.

But when stress becomes constant, your nervous system can get stuck in “go mode.”

That’s when moms start saying things like:

“I’m exhausted but I can’t relax.”
“My brain never stops.”
“I feel like I’m always behind.”
“I’m overstimulated all the time.”

Your nervous system isn’t broken. It just hasn’t had a chance to reset.

When we support the nervous system, the body can finally shift out of survival mode and back toward regulation.

If that sounds like something your body might need right now, you can always book a new patient visit or re-exam and we’ll start there. 💛

The “mom anxiety” no one talks about.

It’s not always panic attacks.

Sometimes it looks like:

Checking on your baby 10 times while they sleep.
Replaying conversations in your head all night.
Feeling like something bad might happen even when everything is fine.
Feeling guilty no matter what decision you make.

Your nervous system is trying to keep everyone safe.

But when it gets stuck in that protective mode, anxiety can take over.

Support helps your body shift out of survival mode so it can finally breathe again.

If you’ve been stuck in that cycle, this might be a good time to come in for a new patient visit or re-exam so we can see how your nervous system is adapting.
