Jackson County Memorial Hospital welcomes Board Certified Physician Assistant Ali Hoeffner to the JCMH Orthopedic Clinic. She joins Dr. Greg Pickett and Physician Assistant Mandy Stevens in the care and treatment of pediatric and adult orthopedics in Southwest Oklahoma and North Texas.

Hoeffner received her Master of Physician Assistant degree from Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. She has been working in Pediatric General Surgery in Atlanta for the last three years.
She says, “I just moved from Atlanta, Georgia where I gained valuable experience in emergency medicine and pediatric general surgery. I relocated to Altus with my husband, a KC-135 pilot stationed at Altus Air Force Base. I am thrilled to be a part of this community and begin this new chapter in orthopedics. Altus has been so welcoming, and I look forward to serving patients here.”

Check out this training program offered by Southwest Technology Center to educate community members and caregivers about the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Dementia Dialogues® is nationally registered as an intervention training program for community members and caregivers. The training is free of charge. This is a five-part series and sessions are the first Wednesday of the month beginning March 4 and ending July 1. Classes are 10 AM to 12 Noon at Southwest Technology Center. Theresa is a CNA on 4North, and has been at JCMH for one year.
Her nominators say about her, "I saw Theresa walk in to a patient room and the patient was very agitated. Theresa never raised her tone or lost track of what she was doing. She told the patient that she was there to help them and to take care of them. The patient finally calmed down and followed her instructions. I was so proud of her because she never lost her composure and stayed focused on patient care.”
