This week we celebrate Long Term Care Administrators Week and recognize the leadership and dedication that make a difference in the lives of our residents every day.
Our Administrator, Kathy Mata, has devoted more than 20 years to long term care, building her career through hard work, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the people we serve. She began her journey as a CNA, later served as Dietary Manager, then led the Human Resources department, and today she guides our entire facility as Administrator.
Her experience in so many roles gives her a unique understanding of both our residents’ needs and the incredible team members who care for them each day. Her leadership helps create a culture of compassion, teamwork, and quality care that our residents and families can truly feel.
Thank you for your years of service, your heart for this work, and the difference you make in the lives of so many. Happy Long Term Care Administrators Week!

March is Social Work Month, and we are proud to recognize the important role our Social Worker, Sheri Andrus, plays in supporting our residents and families.
Through advocacy, compassion, and coordination of care, social work helps ensure residents receive the support, dignity, and quality outcomes they deserve.
Sheri has her master's in Social Work. She chose social work because she has always cared about advocating for more vulnerable populations like the elderly, children, and those with disabilites. Her masters thesis was, "Improving Healthcare Outcomes for Children and Families with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities". While she works with the elderly population now, she is improving healthcare outcomes here too!

Our wonderful Dietary Department served this lovely meal to our residents last night featuring a fried shrimp po’ boy served on a fresh hoagie roll. The entrée is accompanied by red beans with rice, along with lettuce and sliced tomatoes for presentation. A cinnamon roll is provided for dessert. Beverages include fruit punch and water. The tray is clean, portions are appropriate, and the overall presentation reflects an organized and professional dining service setup.
