The Alvin Taylor Street Club (ATSC) is home to 100s of addicts, Alcoholics and family members of those afflicted. We find ourselves, once again, in tight financial times ☹️ We need your help!

ATSC is a 501(c)(3) that relies 100% on donations. Any financial donations made to ATSC are tax deductible.

April 1st we paid our property insurance. This premium went up again this year to $6,592.90. We have also been experiencing all-time low donations from the Groups and for the past 3 months our expenses have been greater than our received funds, we get it, times are difficult for everyone. But without a place to recover, most of us have NOTHING!

Please consider how you can help...host a fundraiser (like a Facebook birthday fundraiser or an in-person event hosted by your Group), donate items that ATSC usually spends funds to acquire, pray for ATSC or donate $$$

Did you know that the Alvin Taylor Street Club is a non-profit organization that rents space to 12 step recovery groups?

Did you know that the by-laws/policies of the club are independent of each group holding meetings there?

Do you know why this is important?
Each Group (AA, NA & Al-Anon) is responsible to make sure that their members are compliant with the rules of the club or the Group risks losing their meeting room. This means that group members should help each other understand that their actions carry consequences for addict/alcoholics/family member seeking recovery.

Please make sure that you are talking about this in your group conscience meetings, at the picnic tables and amongst each other.

Some examples are...smoking/vaping inside the building, leaving doors unlocked after meetings and groups not controlling which members have keys.

Thank you for understanding that it takes all of us working together to ensure we have a safe place to recover.

The water is back on and the club is open!

In order to protect the building from the freezing temperatures we will be closing it until further notice.

There will be no AA, NA or Al-Anon meetings today.

The Alvin Taylor Street Club is a Non-Profit that supplies a safe space for 12-step fellowships to have meetings and events.

If you post asking people to message you privately, solicit vendors, promote for-profit ventures or anything not recovery related it will be deleted, if you continue this behavior you will be removed from the group and possible blocked.

A HUGE Thank You to everyone who came out to the Chili Cook-Off yesterday! We raised $4571 😲 and that will go towards our property insurance and maintenance! We couldn't keep the doors open if it wasn't for your support!!!!
