Why does our office take X-rays?
Both Dr. Brad and Dr. Steph want to see what’s really going on inside the spine so care can be safe, specific, and effective—not a guess.
1. To see is to know, not to see is a guess
X-rays let us see your spinal alignment, curves, and joint spacing. Every spine is different, so we don’t want to assume—your care should be based on facts.
2. X-rays are our map and manual
They act like a roadmap to your skeletal health, helping us know where and how to adjust with precision.
3. To understand the cause, not just the pain
Pain tells us something is wrong, but X-rays help us find the why—the root cause behind your symptoms.
4. To identify past injuries or trauma
Old accidents, falls, sports injuries, or stress from years ago can still affect your spine today. X-rays help uncover those hidden factors.
5. To spot congenital or age-related changes
Some spinal conditions you’re born with, and others develop over time. Knowing this helps us tailor your care appropriately.
6. For safety and customized care
X-rays help rule out conditions where certain adjustments should be modified or avoided, ensuring your care is both safe and personalized.

📐 📏 When we take X-rays, we don’t just look at the picture—we measure it.
The lines we draw are like using a ruler and level on your spine. They help us see how your bones are lined up, how your curves compare to normal, and where stress is being placed
