Hello PHriends!!! It had been FORRRREVER since I have update. That’s because Chadlee is doing so well!!! But tonight is a night I feel like I need to share!!! Chadlee Ray is doing fantastic. Is he doing so well in school, and absolutely loves it. He is walking everywhere and is extremely independent. He loves to open and close doors, he is learning so much and showing signs of improvement daily. He has been working so hard on breathing like a big boy and tonight is the night I feel like we need to share…. Since our boy got his trach 1,277 days ago he has been on the vent. Tonight he is sleeping without it for the first time (now that we got the correct equipment and it’s working like it needs to, to support his needs).

Y’all, when I say it’s been a long and rough road I say that when everything I have in me! He has shown so much fight and determination that I could not be more proud, we are working hard towards getting rid of equipment one piece at a time. The vent will still be in our home for quite sometime bit we hope that our days or needing it are over.

I promise to be diligent about updating now that we are minding big steps so that each and ever one if you can see his progress!!

We love y’all and appreciate all of your love, prayers and support! Tonight I just wanted to share our exciting news!!!

Good morning PHriends!!! Today is the day we have been waiting patiently for!!! It’s Cath day!!! We have to be at the hospital at 8 this morning! Please say some extra prayers for our boy as this is believed to be a rather long case… 8-10 hours. I will update as information becomes available. But until then please pray!

Hello PHriends!

It’s been quite sometime since I have posted an update but I wanted to share this tidbit with you guys. Chadlee has been working really hard to learn to walk. He pulls up on EVERYTHING, pushes all of his toys around the floor and had become quite vocal to get what he wants! He has learned how to go just about anywhere he wants to go (with or without his circuit attached). We have gotten all the approval from each of the doctors following Chadlee to begin weaning on his ventilator! We will begin the first phase of weans tomorrow and anticipate weans be weekly after that giving that Chadlee continues to tolerate. I can not even begin to tell you how well he has been doing. We are still waiting on the cardiologist and vein team to make a plan for his heart cath after getting the CT done a couple weeks ago. As most things that takes time to get all the pieces together to make a solid plan. Hopefully we will be able to go to Houston before the end of the year to get into that lower left pulmonary vein. Keep those prayers coming for our guy as well as his sissy! She is in need of some extra prayers as this is an extremely taxing journey on her as well.

Hello my Phriends!!!

Sorry for the late update but I just wanted to let y’all know Chadlee Ray was discharged from the hospital today about 1:30!!! He did wonderful through the night! The PH team was pleased with how well he did for the cath and was also pleased with the information found during the cath! We will return in 2-3 months for a CT scan then a follow up cath in 4-6 months to try again to get into that lower left pulmonary vein. He has done great today just alittle jittery from the anesthesia.

Thank you for all the prayers, this momma was super worried sending him in and the outcome was better than I could have ever imagined!!!
