🥪 March is the Month of Giving at Jersey Mike's Subs! 🥪

This month, our amazing partners at Jersey Mike’s Subs are proudly supporting Special Olympics Texas Team Texas as they prepare to compete at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis, Minnesota!

Throughout the month of March, you can stop by Jersey Mike’s and help make a difference. Every donation made will help support our Texas athletes and coaches as they represent our state on the national stage this summer!

🏀 Our Special Olympics Texas Area 16 Basketball Competition is almost here and we need YOUR help! 🏀

On Saturday, March 21st, we’ll be hosting our Area 16 Basketball Competition at Amarillo High School, and we could not be more excited! A huge thank you to Amarillo High for allowing us to use their amazing facilities to make this day possible for our athletes.

Now we need our community to show up and show out like you always do! 🤍

We are currently in need of volunteers to help make this event a success. If you’ve ever wanted to get involved, this is the perfect opportunity!

Our friends at SLERG (Servant Leadership Employee Resource Group) at Pantex dove headfirst into the icy waters to support Special Olympics Texas and their bravery paid off! Together, they helped us raise over $10,500 to fund year-round sports training, health programs, and competitions for athletes right here in the Texas Panhandle.

🏆 They also earned the “Highest Fundraising Team” award! And a special shout out to Kenny Steward, who was recognized as the Top Individual Fundraiser!

This is what true community partnership looks like. We are so grateful for organizations like Pantex Plant and SLERG who continue to show up, give back, and champion our athletes in such a big way. ❤️

Amarillo & the Texas Panhandle!!!!! I know our Polar Plunge already happened… but that doesn’t mean we’re done making waves! 🤍

Our CEO, Tim Martin, has officially put his winter bravery on the line. He’s pledged to take the Polar Plunge if the West Region hits $50,000 and we’re already OVER HALFWAY there!

Now it’s time to show the state that the Texas Panhandle really is the best. Let’s rally together, push us over that $50K mark, and send Tim into the icy waters for an even greater cause, supporting Special Olympics Texas athletes across our region.

Our athletes show courage every single day. Let’s match their bravery with our generosity.

🏀🦅 The Canyon Eagles hit the road last weekend and traveled to Lubbock to compete in the Area Basketball Competition!

We are proud of both teams for their hard work, teamwork, and heart on the court.

Now it’s back to practice and refueling as we gear up for the Amarillo Basketball Tournament coming up on March 21st. We can’t wait to see them back in action!

Our hearts are FULL after an incredible Amarillo Polar Plunge, and we could not be more grateful for our amazing community and brave plungers.

Thanks to your passion, generosity, and bravery, we are thrilled to share that we raised $10,700 for Special Olympics Texas, exceeding our $10,000 goal! 🎉 That is truly something to celebrate. Every single dollar raised helps provide year-round sports training, competitions and Unified opportunities for Special Olympics Texas athletes.
