Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo is a major center for health care. TTUHSC is home to Texas Tech Physicians of Amarillo.

If you are looking for a new physician, we would love to help. Our departments include Family Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Geriatrics and Psychiatry. In an effort to provide across-the-board medical care, TTUHSC also offers the Breast Center of Excellence. In addition to providing excellent patient care to residents throughout the Texas Panhandle, Oklahoma and New Mexico, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center proudly teaches the next generation of physicians and pharmacists. Members of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine Internal Medicine and Pediatric residency teams, along with TTUHSC faculty in Amarillo, attended the Southern Regional Meeting of The Southern Society for Clinical Investigation in New Orleans. The group presented over 30 posters and oral abstracts. Three of the presentations were award winners.

The Southern Society for Clinical Investigation is dedicated to the advancement of medical research and the exchange of knowledge, information and ideas. Its members are committed to mentoring future generations of medical investigators and promoting careers in academic medicine.

🎉It's MATCH DAY! 🎉

In an exciting ceremony on Friday morning, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine students from the Amarillo campus discovered where they will spend the next several years during their residency training. In total, 47 students from the Amarillo campus matched into residency programs; 40% of those students will stay in Texas for their residencies, and 49% of them will go into primary care residencies.

Students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Health Professions in Amarillo wrapped up a fun season of coaching soccer with Turn Center’s Kids Inclusion program. This unique program invites kids with and without disabilities to play together on the same team to learn teamwork, build confidence and stay active.
