We’re proud to recognize Rose Ingerson, RN, of the BSA Harrington Cancer Center team, as the inaugural recipient of the Oncology Nursing Society’s Caring Beyond Limits Award.
After earning her BSN from West Texas State University in 1986, Rose began her nursing career on the BSA Orthopedic Unit before joining the Radiation Therapy team at Harrington Cancer Center in 1992. There, she cared for patients, taught CPR and developed radiation education classes.
Since 1999, Rose has served in the Clinical Research Department, where she continues to make a meaningful impact as Lead Nurse Coordinator. She holds OCN and ACRP certifications and is an active member of ACRP and the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), both locally and nationally.
Rose is known for her compassion, clarity and unwavering dedication to patient care—ensuring every patient fully understands their diagnosis and treatment options. Her commitment extends beyond patients to her colleagues and the field of oncology nursing, making her truly deserving of this honor. Thank you, Rose, for making BSA a Great Place for Patients!
