Hey everyone, help me in wishing Jill Chandler a Happy Social Workers Month. Today I gave her a card with a Texas Road House gift card (one of her favorite places) to show her how much she is appreciated. Jill has been part of our team at Georgia Manor for about 7 Months. She says we have the best residents!!! (and she is right). Jill is from the suburbs of Chicago Illinois and came to WTSU right out of high school and received her Bachelors of Science in Social Work and has never left Amarillo since. She has been doing social work for 40 years and says that her favorite part is that she gets to help other because sometimes is not about fixing the situation, its more about helping someone have a better day. Her favorite colors are PINK and PURPLE (as we all know) Jill says her favorite scripture is Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you...I will strengthen you and help you" which fits her so well she is such a kind soul and we are blessed to have her on our team!!!!
