Amarillo Area Mental Health Consumers (Agape Center) The primary mission of Amarillo Area Mental Health Consumers is to organize, encourage, educate, and train mental health consumers.

Amarillo Area Mental Health Consumers(AAMHC) was formed as a chapter of Texas Mental Health Consumers (TMHC) who were
interested in learning more about empowerment and advocacy. As the organization evolved we became an independent peer support
recovery center funded by the Department of State Health Services.
