We are proud to recognize Denise Price as our Employee of the Month! Denise has been part of the Landmark of Amarillo family for 5 years and continues to shine with her dedication and heart. Inspired by her mom, she began her career in the dietary world after seeing the joy and fulfillment that comes from helping residents. What Denise loves most about her job is the residents themselves. They bring a smile to her face every day. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. We are grateful for Denise’s compassion, commitment, and the difference she makes every day!

The Tri State Fair Grounds hosts Senior Citizen Day, an Annual event we eagerly await. Attending this annual event is a priority for us. Our staff are essential to the success of this day, and their participation is invaluable. The event showcases various attractions, including treats, prizes, artwork, fruit and vegetable baskets, and outstanding food. We make every effort to attend this event.

🎉Employee of the Month🎉
Please help us congratulate our August employee of the month, Shay! Shay is our transportation driver. She has been a CNA for 6 years.
Together, Shay and her husband have 7 children ranging in age from 2-18 years old. They have a farm with chickens, quail, and rabbits. They also have a dog, 2 ferrets, a gecko, a bearded dragon, and a scorpion. She loves spending time out doors, hiking, and traveling. This summer they got to take a trip to Missouri, and she loved being able to share the beautiful experience with her kids.
The thing she loves the most about driving transport and caring for our residents is being there for them to talk to. She loves to make an impact and difference in their lives. Our residents love having a driver they can always count on and visit with!
Thank you, Shay, for everything you do for your residents and Landmark! We appreciate you! 🥳 Thank you for always going above and beyond!

🎉 Last week we celebrated our amazing team with a Soda Pop Treat Party! 🥤✨ Everyone got to mix and match different Coke flavors with fun add-ins to create their own custom drink. Through dedication in therapy sessions and encouragement from our staff, Mr. Whiteside regained his strength, mobility, and independence. His positive attitude and persistence were truly remarkable. Not only did he walk out of the facility, he drove himself as well!

After completing his rehabilitation program, we were proud to celebrate Mr. Whiteside’s biggest milestone. Returning home!
