Jennifer Oliver, LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing professional counseling services I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Texas.

I began working at the bachelor's level as a hospice social worker in 2012. I earned my master's degree in 2016 and began working in a therapeutic role in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. In 2023, after two years of clinical supervision I earned my LCSW. With this experience, I bring a wealth of expertise to my practice. My professional journey has encompassed roles in hospice care as well as inpatient and outpatient mental health services, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of diverse client needs. I hold certifications in grief therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction, and I have received specialized training in anxiety disorders, OCD, CBT, and DBT. This training equips me with the tools and knowledge to effectively address a range of mental health challenges. My practice focuses on supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem issues, and women's issues. I welcome clients aged 15 and older, offering a safe and inclusive space for exploration and healing. My therapeutic approaches are trauma-informed, person-centered, and goal-directed, emphasizing empowerment and collaboration. My mission as a therapist is to walk alongside my clients, providing a nonjudgmental environment where they can process their experiences and develop insights and skills to achieve their goals. 5 Self-Compassion Phrases to Support You in Any Moment ✨
We all face challenging times, but the words we tell ourselves matter.

When you’re in a difficult situation that is causing you stress, ask yourself, “What do I need to hear right now to express kindness to myself?” Try repeating a phrase that speaks to you in your particular situation. Some potentials are:

💖 May I be brave in the face of fear
💖 May I treat myself with kindness
💖 May I love myself just as I am
💖 May I support myself when times are difficult
💖 May I give myself the compassion that I need

When we’re feeling inadequate or struggling in some way, it’s easy to spiral into over-identification, isolation, and self-criticism, but a Self-Compassion Break can change that. 🌿

By bringing mindfulness, common humanity, and kindness into moments of struggle, we can break the cycle of suffering and offer ourselves the understanding we need.

Want to know how to practice this life-changing tool? Head over to our blog for a guide to take a Self-Compassion Break.

✨A photo description giving you tips on how to hack your happiness hormones.✨

Hormones and neurotransmitters play vital roles in heart rate, digestion, mood, and bonding, serving as the body’s chemical messengers. They fluctuate throughout the day, influenced by factors like environment, relationships, diet, sleep, and exercise. Your choices and actions can impact your mood directly.

Happy hormones travel through the bloodstream, while neurotransmitters primarily affect the brain and central nervous system, communicating through neurons. Despite this, some individuals may experience imbalances requiring holistic treatment to regulate hormones and neurotransmitters effectively.🌸
