I began working at the bachelor's level as a hospice social worker in 2012. I earned my master's degree in 2016 and began working in a therapeutic role in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. In 2023, after two years of clinical supervision I earned my LCSW. With this experience, I bring a wealth of expertise to my practice. My professional journey has encompassed roles in hospice care as well as inpatient and outpatient mental health services, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of diverse client needs. I hold certifications in grief therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction, and I have received specialized training in anxiety disorders, OCD, CBT, and DBT. This training equips me with the tools and knowledge to effectively address a range of mental health challenges. My practice focuses on supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem issues, and women's issues. I welcome clients aged 15 and older, offering a safe and inclusive space for exploration and healing. My therapeutic approaches are trauma-informed, person-centered, and goal-directed, emphasizing empowerment and collaboration. My mission as a therapist is to walk alongside my clients, providing a nonjudgmental environment where they can process their experiences and develop insights and skills to achieve their goals. I am committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards healing and growth, and I look forward to the opportunity to work together. I currently accept the following insurances:
